Ugly Ducklings' Dancing Cabaret

Organised School Trip - June 3rd

The school will be organising a trip to the Parc & Dare Theatre on Wednesday June 3rd @ 1:30pm to see The Ugly Ducklings' Dancing Cabaret concert.

Transport to and from the theatre will be free of charge by coach. The children will be collected from school at the normal time of 3:00pm.

For this visit to take place, the school will need to ask for a voluntary contribution of £3.00, by Fri 15th May to cover the cost of the performance.

Your child will be receiving a letter regarding the above in due course.

The School Term & Holiday dates for the next academic year (2009-2010) will follow in the next few weeks.

Both children and staff in Mrs Bailyes' and Mrs Freemans Class had a brilliant day out this week at 'Winter Wonderland' in Cardiff.

This years Christmas concert 'Tinsel and Tea-Towels' will be performed
on the 10th and 11th of December in the main hall. The concerts will
start promptly at 9.30 am. Tickets cost £2 (which includes a raffle
ticket) and can be purchased from Mrs Davies at the office.

The mural of the childrens work can be seen near the main entrance of the school.

Thanks to all the artists for their patience and help.

At the start of the Autumn term, as a result of funding from the 'Wooden Spoon', we took delivery of a lovely new climbing frame.

Today some of the girls from Mrs Pugh's class visited

'radio cwmni '

in Treherbert.

Keira, Mia, Maia, Shauna, Elisha, Morgan and Ella

sang two of the songs from the school's Christmas

Concert. This was broadcast live on 'broadband'.

The girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
